McKesson 16-42426 is a Sterile 6 Ply 4 x 4 Inch IV Drain Split Sponge designed to conform around drains, chest tubes, I.V.s, catheters or tracheotomies. The sponges effectively absorb fluids to keep patient comfortable. The split gauze sponge is made of fast wicking non-woven polyester and rayon material that's strong and low linting. The 6-ply layering also adds to its excellent absorbency.
