Description

Coflex TLC elastic compression bandage, manufactured by Andover, are two layer compression bandaging systems that are ideal for patients that require both an absorptive dressing and a compressive outer layer. These Coflex Two Layer Compression Bandages provide patient comfort during compression. The inner layer is a soft, absorptive foam that will supplement a wound dressing. Heavy drainage is wicked away quickly, regulating the moisture inside the wrap. The second layer of this compression system is a low profile wrap that applies a 10mmHg, restorative compression level. Coflex TLC is ideal for the treatment of venous leg ulcers and similar conditions. Unlike some other Double Layer Compression Systems, Coflex TLC is latex free, so it is suitable for a wide range of patients. The low profile design on this compression bandage makes coflex TLC easy to wear comfortably.

To use Coflex TLC, apply the blue side of the foam layer to the skin or dressing. The blue side is the absorptive side. Then wrap the elastic layer over top of the foam layer to hold foam in place and apply compression. A nylon sock (included) slips over the top of this compression bandage to prevent snagging and promote easy wear. Coflex also makes a Non-Compression Wrap.
